Pathways works to connect people with place. In our work we strive to help people to improve and celebrate the places they live, work and play in. Over the last 15 years we have built a rich expertise in the tools that build this kind of connection: creative consultation, qualitative research, evaluation, training and facilitation.

We work in both rural and urban communities. We are especially passionate about how green spaces can enrich peoples’ lives. Evidence is growing that contact with green spaces is good for peoples’ health and well being. The wilder and more natural the green spaces, the greater the benefits seem to be for people.

In the last few years our work has centered on supporting the development of great green spaces: securing Lottery funding for parks; bringing natural play into school grounds; training green space managers; helping people to find new ways of using their green spaces.
