The Tamar Valley ‘Sense of Place’ Box

To help the Tamar Valley ANOB engage local people in developing a brand for the area, we devised a ‘Sense of Place’ box. This box of activities went to community groups in the area. The activities included: telling stories of the area’s history; chosing colours that represented the area; marking on a map favourite secret places to go; telling us the best places to eat, buy local produce and find a great local market. This approach worked well to reach people across a big rural area.
